I was just wondering is anyone else having an issue with fonts that we need for the labs not being available in Word 2007. The font Old English Text isn't in word 2007. I found it in 2003 version.
It is just frustrating that we have to go an download fonts. Are there different versions of word 2007?
I am also having the same problem and am using word 2007. I had the same problem with an earlier lab which required the use of the font Broadway, in which I just used a similar font, I received full credit for that lab. I was unaware you could even download different fonts. It is very frustrating to hit these little speed bumps! glad to know I'm not the only one having this issue.
Yes! I have found that if you google the font type you can download it for free. I was unable tho, to find the Aspect font. Anyone know where I can find it?
Hi, I think I might be able to help you Ashland. If you click on the Home tab, over on the right there is a Change Styles tab, once you open it, click on Font and Aspect will be one of your choices. I hope that helps. I am also working with 2007 and have been able to find both Broadway and Old English in the Font list. I always seem to have problems with accessing the downloads for the homework. This was the first week I've been able to do it with no problems. (I think)
I had the same problem with the broadway font and didn't think or know to download it. I'm going to try that next time I run into that problem. Thanks! Every little bit helps!
I agree with you guys also...Ive had to download the fonts for both of the assignments that we've had. It is kind of annoying..but either way I still recieved full credit!
Hi guys. I haven't had a problem with the fons, thankfully I have a more current version of MS Office, but i am still having issues with SAM. I have to call Technical Support, because I am still not able to generate the report that shows what I got wrong. It has been so frustrating. Has anyone else had a problem with SAM?
It might be possible that I have a different version too, but I did not have any issues with fonts yet. The Old English text was available in the WordArt font drop box. Sorry to those of you that have to keep installing fonts.
In regards to SAM, the grade I got was listed at the completion of the exam but otherwise I can't generate a report for it either. For the project we had to do I was able to click on reports and change the necessary drop box menus and there was a download button available. I'm not sure why that isn't possible with the exam.
I think SAM is a good idea but I find it tough to use sometimes. It is nice because you get a few attempts and everything but if you misclick something or do something different from what they want you to, even though it is correct, you lose points.
I need some help from my classmates. I was going along fine on our homework, but when it came to the "continuous break" at the bottom of the article, something happened. I'm not sure why I can't go forward. I put the break at the end of coloumn three, then tried to add the border and it only went as far as the first column...I'm also unaware of how to enter the information at the top the insert we had to make. But that might just be because I did something wrong with the break. Please post any ideas you may have for me to try. Many thanks!
